Katherine Schirrmacher has climbed Balance It Is at Burbage South, one of the crags with the highest concentration of hard trad routes in the country. The route climbes a striking arete at the southern end of the edge and weighs in at E7 6c. Katherine joins a select group of women who have climbed E7 or above on gritstone, along with Airlie Anderson (MAsters Edge), Lucinda Hughes (Kaluza Klein) and American Lisa Rands (White Lines, Shine On, Gaia and End Of The Affair).
