Pablo Barbero has done a project in Teverga (North Spain) called Especie olvidada en el tiempo. It is 45 meters long and is divided in 2 sections: 8c+ and 8c. Many strong Spanish climbers (no names…) tried it and thought it could be 9a. It is his first 9a. This year, Pablo did his first 8b+ onsight, won the spanish championship (against strong fellows like Ramonet, Marín, Usobiaga) and now his first 9a… Stay tuned for an English version of Ignacio Sandoval´s interview.
