First 9a of the season by Erik López

Erik López has send his first 9a of the season yesterday. The route is called El celiaco y la atacá in Patones, then the one bolted and first ascended by Pablo Barbero a few weeks ago. The later tepidly proposed 9a as he´s more in the no-grading fashion lately.Erik comments: “I sent it in one day, fourth go. It´s an explosive route, very hard and crimpy… In my opinion it´s 9a, maybe a little bit easier if you´re tall” (He said the last words while reflecting on the effort he put in on the long throw).
