by Mick Ryan Silvia Fitzpatrick Sam Mayfield reports that: „Silvia Fitzpatrick that stays here in the winter went climbing in therain this weekend and climbed an 8a+. First time in 8 years that she hasclimbedthat hard. I think she was the first British Team member to climb thathardback in the good olde days! As she is 42 I am not sure if she is close to being the oldest womenclimbing that hard at the moment. She was so angry at the shitty weather and she was having troublegettingsomeone to hold her ropes that I think she took it out on the route.“ The route was an 8a+ at the Wild Side Sector, Sella in the Costa Blanca.
