2 Climbers Die in Cairngorms

Two student climbers died at the weekend in bad weather in the Caringorms. A group of club members from Aberdeen University had travelled North to attend a safety course at Glenmore Lodge, but Richard Hardy, 18, and Graeme Cooper, 23, hitched a lift with the others and had planned a trip into Coire an t-Sneachda. Their bodies were found just 1 mile from the Cairngorm Ski area car park, having been exposed to strong winds and temperatures of -20 degrees Celcius. Source: BBC
