Both the GB men´s and women´s teams came 6th today at the World Cup Final Relay. For the men it was a case of trying to stay close to the front all the way round, finishing first and second legs in 3rd place, and for the girls it was more of a battle for places all the way round. Graham Gristwood ran well to come back 3rd on 1st leg, and David Brickhill-Jones did very well to maintain the position (although dropping some time). Jon Duncan had a tough task but did well and held on to a podium position. Mhairi Mackenzie very nearly had an awewsome performance on first leg, but made a big mistake near the end. Pippa Whitehouse had her best race of the week to pull up 2 positions and Helen Bridle had a steady to run to clinch 6th. There was controversy in the men´s race as the French and Swedish teams were disqualified.
