5. Rock Junior Festival in Trentino am Gardasee

again budding young climbers and their parents will mix sport and
nature to get to know the game of climbing at Arco, the world’s
climbing capital. Two intense made-to-measure climbing days for
children and their parents.

The European Youth Climbing Days and
the fifth edition of the Rock Junior return to Arco, Italy, on Saturday
17 and Sunday 18 June 2006. Arco is renowned as the world’s
climbing capital and town which hosts the world’s most important
climbing competition, the Rock Master. In June it hosts the great world
festival dedicated to the young generation of climbers aged between 5
and 13 who, together with their families, wish to discover the climbing
game in complete safety, but also get to know the splendid nature of
the small town located close to Lake Garda, in the Trentino region of
Northern Italy.

This is once again a unique occasion, promoted
by the ROCK MASTER di ARCO Association in collaboration with the ARCO
CLIMBING sports club and represented by the FASI (Italian Sports
Climbing Federation) to teach the game of climbing to the young, but
above all to combine sport and education. In doing so, it exploits the
mix of sport-nature and the naturalness of this sport.

As usual
a true fun-packed festival will await the young climbers and their
families on the green lawn at Arco. It will be a two-day full immersion
of games and fun sports that will enable all, newcomers and experts
alike, to explore the fantastic climbing world, including a series of
educational activities aimed at developing the knowledge and respect
for the natural habitat All are invited to take part in this great
family festival to have fun in the extraordinary Rock Master champions
Climbing Stadium, perfectly transformed for the occasion into the Fun
