8c+ by Chanal Julien, #7

Chanal Julien from France has had a good week doing Vitamania, 8c+, at Annot and two 8a+´s onsight. Vitamania was put up in 1999 by Andreas and Christian Bindhammer. About the grade they said: „They could both (Vitamania and another route called Alien Carnage) easily be 9a, but maybe they are only 8c+/9a. We´ll let others decide.“ Axel Franco was the first one to climb it after the Bindi´s. He thought it was more like 8c/c+. The grade seems to to have settled on 8c+… Chanal is now #7 in the world with 11 983 points.
