Andy Turner has repeated Thing on a Spring (E6 6c/7a), first put up by Simon Nadin at the Roaches Lower Tier. It´s a wall climb up the wall to the right of the corner of Valkyrie – look at it, it´s desperate. Since the loss of a pebble at the hands of Paul Clark (then glued back on, unsuccessfully) it had looked “impossible in its current state”. Andy however found the solution – a dyno to a dire sloper. Not bad at this time of year when most people would say it´s too hot for grit.
