BBC results in brief

The first round of the British Bouldering Competition was held at the Kendal Wall on Sunday.Lucinda Hughes took first place in the women´s event, with Abigail May and Rebecca Seymore coming second and third.The men´s final saw quite an upset with Malcolm Smith making a technical error on one of the more straightforward finals problems.Gareth Parry was ecstatic to flash all 5 final problems in his characteristic focused and controlled style to take first place.
