Tim Emmett and Mike Weeks have been invited to represent the UK in a big wall speed climbing competition taking place near the Croatian capital, Zagreb, in an area known as the Pakelenkia Gorge. The routes are around 1000ft in length, and rated at around f7a. The organisers are expecting the winning teams to be climbing to the top in between 25 and 30 minutes. Simul-climbing is not allowed in this competition and climbers must switch leads. British photographer Tim Glasby will be covering the event from a 300 meter abseil rope. Look out for some amazing pictures! Afterwards, a party organised by Red Bull is being held in an enormous bunker, which was excavated by the former Yugoslavian army for the then President Tito.
