BMC Cymru/Wales Climbing and Hill Walking Day

Final details for the BMC Cymru/Wales Climbing and Hill walking Day have now been announced. The fun-day for climbers and hill walkers in Wales takes place this Saturday (24 November) at Plas y Brenin. Free food will be served between 5.30 and 6.00pm on Saturday. There will be a vegetarian option and the bar will be open from 5pm so you can get a drink with your food. We cannot guarantee food after 6pm due to the demands on PYB´s kitchen. During the day, workshops start at 12.45pm (only for those already booked). There will be free use of the climbing wall all day for those attending the meeting, just register at PYB reception. The meeting will start at 6.00pm sharp with the AGM including reports from our reps to MLTUK, MCG, MLTUK, AYC,National Council and Heritage. There will be an open forum for you to bring up any issues you want.There will be a book sale at 7.30 pm. You can bring mountaineering books to sell, just put your price inside the front cover with pencil.At 8pm Ray Wood will present an audio visual presentation (including current issues in Wales featuring the Green Key scheme).
