Cairngorm fatality

Alladins Couloir A climber has died after falling while making a solo ascent on Coire an t-Sneachda in the Cairngorms. Neil Batchelor, 26, from Inverness, had been climbing at Alladins Couloir, when he fell. Northern Constabulary said that members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team reached him but discovered that he had died at the scene. A police spokesman said a report was being submitted to the procurator fiscal. ( Source: BBC News )
