by Alan James A 19 year old man, thought to be from Wakefield in West Yorkshire, has died in a fall from Dow Crag (left) above Coniston in the Lakes. He was climbing with his brother when he fell a long distance down the crag although the exact circumstances of the accident are not know. An RAF rescue team was then alerted by a female walker, who saw the accident, and they helped winch the man´s brother to safety. He was later said to be suffering from shock.
