by Karen Zaken Last month we reported the purchase of the US magazine, Rock & Ice by Duane Raleigh and Quent Williams, the former publisher and production manager of the magazine´s competitor, Climbing. On June 10, Climbing magazine publisher, Primedia filed a lawsuit seeking in excess of $75,000.Raleigh and Williams are named along with their new company, Big Stone. The complaint alleges Big Stone of attempting to degrade the the quality of Climbing magazine and steal editorial and advertising opportunities for Rock & Ice.All three are accused of having”waged a systematic misinformation campaign about Climbing in an effort to cripple the magazine.”
