Lucy Creamer and Airlie Anderson came second and fourth respectively in the women´s event at Colorado´s Ouray Ice Festival last weekend, reports Outside on-line. Raphael Slawinski won the men´s and Kim Csizmazia won the women´s title. Ouray has the only public ice-climbing park in the US.Spigots tapped into huge corrugated metal pipes running across the top of ?Box Canyon?, just outside of the downtown area, control the release thousands of gallons of water each winter. On the mixed route, Lucy Creamer came second and earned audience applause when, hanging nearly horizontal from one tool discovered the third biner from the top was frozen and replaced it with one from her harness. Organizers estimate there were 2,000 spectators and climbers at the festival.
