DIY – be careful this winter!

One of the USA´s top climbers, Tommy Caldwell, has injured himself badly in a DIY accident at his home in Estes Park, Colorado. Apparently, Caldwell had been using a saw to build a platform for his washing machine when he accidently cut off his left index finger just above the middle knuckle. His girlfiend, Beth Rodden put the severed tip into ice before getting him to the hospital. Tommy´s finger has since been reattached and he is making good progress.So if the current bad weather is giving you the DIY bug, remember to be careful! ( Source: Rock & Ice magazine )
