We´ve just received unsusbtantiated report that Mick Fowler and Paul Ramsden have won this year´s Piolet D´Or for their audacious ascent of the north face of Siguniang, in the Sichuan province of China. Frenchman Jean Christophe Lafaille had been hotly tipped for the award, but for the first time, it was given to a team of British mountaineers.
