Harness Recall & Battery Incompatibility

Black Diamond have issued a voluntary recall of their Speed Harness because there is the possibility on some harnesses shipped between Dec 2005 and Jun 2006 for incorrect buckling. See diagram below or click for more details. Meanwhile Petzl have announced that some Lithium batteries will not work with some of their torches, possibily causing the torches to overheat! Details. Petzl are keen to point out that it is not just their torches that are affected, but it is they who have carried out the research.
