At Backdale (part of Longstone Edge) one of our treasured National Parks is being rapidly quarried away – this is supposed to be your heritage. The Peak District National Park are trying to stop this destruction but they need your help.Help protect the Edge by making your voice heard at the forthcoming public inquiry on 13th February.What you need to do:1. Download and read the background information.2. Take a look at the photos.3. Download and send off the sample campaign letter. Save Longstone Edge Walk At 10am on Sunday 4th February, a number of free walks will commence from Calver Cross Roads to view the incredible destruction taking place.
