The boulder blocking the approach path into the Quarry has been replaced by a temporary gate whilst some work is carried out in the quarry. On Saturday February 9th there will be a ?working day´ in the quarry. Henry Folkard (BMC Peak Access Coordinator) and others will be there, engaged primarily in vegetation clearance. Volunteers would be much appreciated. Please contact the BMC if you are interested. Just in case you have forgotten, Horseshoe Quarry is owned by you and I? Well in fact it?s the BMC, who bought the site of Tarmac in 2005, on behalf of the climbing community.Finally, a quick reminder. The next Peak Area meeting will be held on 20th February at Grouse Inn near Froggatt.
