Increased enviro impact at Indian Creek

Due to the increased number of climbers visiting the crack heaven of Indian Creek in Utah, the US Access Fund have begun meetings with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to assess the impact. The Access Fund is assisting with area surveys, fundraising and campaigns to increase awareness. They are asking that visitors take care and stay in already established camping sites.Pit toilets are being installed at the popular areas around Bridger Jack, Superbowl and Donnelly Canyon. The Recreation Plan for the area is in its infancy stage and will be available for public in the autumn. The plan will probably take effect around the spring 2003 season. ( Source: Rock & Ice magazine )
