Longstone Edge – is it over?

Whilst the operators MMC are not planning to appeal we understand that the owners Bleaklow Industries may be planning an appeal against the Secretary of State´s decision to halt quarrying at Longstone Edge. We should have more details next week so watch this space… Also on Thursday the Peak Park Authority issued an Enforcement Notice and Stop Order against the quarrying which had been ongoing at Wages Flat (part of Longstone Edge).
