Following the public success of the anti road stealth tax petition on the new government petitions website a petition has been set up against the further quarrying of Longstone Edge in the Peak District.The Save Longstone Edge Campaign Group and the BMC are in full support of this petition, but it has so far only received 186 signatures. Come on, even if this isn´t in your area it´s no trouble to sign up and may make other developers think twice before quarrying in your back yard.
