This week the Orienteering World Cup Finals are being held in the Auvergne region in central France. Today was the first race – the Middle Qualification with 17 from each heat going through to tomorrow´s A Final. It was a very technical race, not overly physical but a lot of top names missed out on qualification due to the unusually intricate and bushy terrain.
