News just in that today´s Middle Distance Final at the 2006 World Cup Finals in France has had to be cancelled mid way through. The International Orienteering Federation website states: 10:40 – Tuesday, October 3 Middle Final Cancelled due to StormMiddle Final was cancelled due to the strong wind blowing over trees. Some runners had already started their courses, so it may not be possible to hold the event at all.
