Last Friday Jure Golob opened a new route called Martin Krpan, 8c+/9a. The route contains 60 very hard moves and is a result of a link up of Strelovod, 8c, and Konec mira, 8c/c+. The route is currently the hardest in Slovenia. We got this news, as always, from Klemen Demsar, who also reports Pablo Barbero is in Slovenia. On 8.05.2001 he onsighted Triad, 8a, and did an 8th try, third ascent of Konec Mira.
