Legrand and Hirayama, names you´d normally associate with the competition circuit. Proving that they are not just the masters of plastic Legrand (who recently established a new F9a at Calanques, France) and Hirayama (who last year enhanced his reputation as the world´s best all-round climber by on-sighting virtually every pitch of Salathe Wall, and onsighting Mortal Kombat, an endurance 8c in France) are off on a road trip. They will spend 2 months hopping from crag to crag across the USA, with a camera team. The emphasis will be on on-sighting…watch this space.
