From the BMC Website: “TheGeorge Bancroft Climbing Towers in Blackpool, which have played host tothe British Lead Climbing Championships for the last two years, nowhave two legs of the south tower dedicated to drytooling!” Dry tooling has been a big hit in Scotland recently, with the tooling series being covered in depth on UKClimbing.com.Tooling competitor Rhys Dobbs wrote an excellent article for UKClimbing.com back in March:Competitions – A Personal Journey. The article concentrates on Rhys´ entry to various competitions, culminating in the Ice Climbing World Cup, it´s well worth a read.
