Brits in Greenland – Hard New Big Walls

by Jack Geldard The British team of Es Tresidder, Tony Stone, James Vybiral, Dan McManus, Tom Spreyer and Ged Desforges with Bavarian climber, Ruben Gutzat, travelled to Greenland´s Tasermiut Fjord from July 16 to August 13, 2008. Encountering excellent weather, the group climbed several new, all-free lines onthe granite big-walls, in what has been described as „the most successful expedition to the unnamed valley south of Sermitsiaq in over three decades.“ by Alpinist Magazine.
