Glairon Mondet, the black sheep of the French squad?

Guillaume Glairon Mondet, member of the French national bouldering team (not to be confused with the French national football team, which I won't mention) and 11th in the last comp in Moscow, decided to try something new before the next stage in Eindhoven. He went to Céüse, where he repeated Dave Graham's Ba, ba, black sheep, ~8c+. Not exactly the biggest rig of the crag, but still a veritable marathon for a boulderer.If the strategy works?
