by Mick Ryan Some significant ascents are reported in the Lakes courtesy of Greg Chapman and Lakesbloc.co.uk. On the Bowderstone Si Moore got the third ascent of Ryan Pasquil´s XXXX (Font 8a). Pasquil then repeated the 8a on the Ladder face. Two days later an on-form James Pearson raised the bar with a flash of the Font 8a on the Ladder face then repeated both Special Cases (Font 8a) and XXXX (Font 8a). Chapman himself has been busy. In May he added Paroxysm (Font 7c/+) that takes a ceiling at the South Lakes venue Crag X. Then at Woodwell he added Kiss of the Dragon (Font 7b). You´ll find the finer details at Lakesbloc.co.uk
