Utility company United Utilities is donating one pound for every visitor to its site to the National Trust Lake District Crisis Fund. "The objectives of the Lake District Crisis Fund are threefold: To preserve the special Herdwick sheep; to assist tenant farmers; and to finance the necessary environmental management to support this precious landscape".
