Ines Papert from Germany has won the women´s Valle di Daone Ice Climbing World Cup for the second year running. In second place was Anna Torretta from Italy, ahead of France´s Stéphanie Maureau. There were many top-outs in the men´s comp, leading to a three-man ´superfinal´ between Samuel Anthamatten of Switzerland, Harald Berger of Austria and Italy´s Herbert Klammer. Anthamattan and Berger eventually tied for first place, with Klammer in third. The four remaining World Cup comps this year are in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Romania and Norway.
