A few snippets of news from across the pond: A climbing wall manager from Missouri has been jailed after his wall failed and a woman was killed. Snow has arrived in Yosemite, tragically killing two Japanses climbers on El Capitan a couple of days ago, and promting the rescue of some more climbers yesterday.And last, but not least, Beth Rodden has climbed what could possibly the hardest first ascent, by a woman in the world – The Great Roof, at Smith Rock reputedly goes at 5.14b (F8c?)
