Another Font 8b for MacLeod

Dave MacLeod has added another Font 8b to Dumbarton Rock, ´Sanction´ crosses the large roof of the BNI boulder and is another superb effort that Dave has managed to decrypt from his local spot…only taking him 2 years to work out the sequence!

Dave, as usual, has already set a new goal and raised his sights a little higher. Having completed this project, he´s now looking to climb the whole roof, linking ´Perfect Crime´ (an already established Font 8b) into ´Sanction´. This would link 2 Font 8b´s into one massive roof link! Still at Dumbarton Rock, Malcolm Smith has repeated ´Pressure´, confirming the Font 8b grade. This see´s the return of Malcolm to the top end of UK bouldering after a few years away from the limelight. Not being content with his bouldering exploits, Dave MacLeod also managed to get a few days cragging on the Aberdeen seacliffs last week, managing to onsight ´Gies a Squid´ E7 6c and a quick repeat of ´Comfortably Numb´ E8 6c (pictured, photo by Hotaches Productions).
