Once more we´ve got news from Florent Wolff: The alsacian (north-east of France) Pierre Bollinger has climbed El Membre, 8c, in Siurana. Not only is he the first non-Spaniard to do so, but he did it 2nd try! Not content with this he went on to flash an 8a+ bloc boulder opened by Oscar Jimenez in the El cau-sector. This flash was the first repeat of this problem. If the grade 8a+ is correct, Pierre thinks the hardest boulder he once put up in Gueberschwihr (north-east of France) aren’t anymore 8a but rather 8b or 8b+ bloc. Is this is the case it would explain why he thought Toni Lamprecht´s Muadib should be down graded from 8b to 7c+…
