Cold Climbs, the snow and ice climbing companion to Hard Rock and Extreme Rock, last printed way back in 1992, has been updated and bound to include a 16 page supplement and has a new cover. The supplement is available separately for those who already have a copy of the book, and even has a self adhesive strip to stop it falling out.The 16 additional pages include notes on equipment developments, revised gradings, and historical information, the latter mostly relating to the Lake District. One note missing in the supplement is the rockfall that removed the right wall of Parallel Gully B´s chimney, which will be included as a slip.
