Double Amputee Summits Everest

by Alan James 47 year old Mark Inglis from New Zealand has become the first double amputee to summit Everest (left). He reached the top on Monday 15 May at around mid-day in perfect conditions.Mark lost his legs after getting stuck in an ice cave on Mount Cook for 14 days as a 23 year old in 1982.
