Rubén Díaz, 22 years old, has just gotten his first 8B, Hay que masticar antes de tragar, in Baltzola, after just 2 years of climbing practice… The problem is in the words of its first ascender, Iker Pou, “a very explosive boulder problem with 9 movements on crimps and a quite painful one-finger pocket”.Rubén is not only dedicated to bouldering, in fact he states he enjoys climbing routes more than bouldering; in this other discipline he´s sent some 8c´s and 8a on-sight.Pic: Rubén Díaz suffering the one-finger pocket.
