Call It What You Want: from Steep Media about Kendal´s own climbing prodigy George Ullrich.Au Delà des Cimes: a film profiling Catherine Destivelle and her climbing; Catherine and director Rèmy Tezier will introduce the film at Kendal. Committed Vol 2 from Hotaches Productions features James Pearson succeeding on his biggest climbing project ever ? and the UK´s hardest rock climb ? Walk Of Life (E12). The Sky Pirates of Hoy; the story behind the first BASE jump from The Old Man of Hoy by Tim Emmett, Gus Hutchinson-Brown and Roger Holmes. European premieres: Tracking the White Reindeer: a beautiful film following the Tsaatan nomads of northern Mongolia. British premieres: 15 British premieres at Kendal this year include Ama Dablam, Beyond The Void featuring (and introduced by) Simon Yates. Plus: Festival favourite Alastair Lee will be presenting his latest release On Sight, with a lecture full of anecdotes from the making of the film. American climber, author and IMAX filmmaker David Breashears talks about his latest PBS film Storm Over Everest with excerpts.
