Nordic Champs – Sprint

The British Orienteering Team is currently being represented by 8 athletes at the Nordic Open Championships on the island of Bjornholm, Denmark. Today was the sprint race with the women´s race won by Helena Jansson of Sweden and the men´s title going to Mattias Merz of Switzerland. The surprise of the day has to be multiple World Champion Simone Niggli of Switzerland down in 26th= position.
