ShAFF Update – MacLeod Out, Pearson In

The second ever ShAFF will take place in ten days time. Tickets are selling well so don´t delay in booking if you want to come along. Below are a few announcements: Dave MacLeod has unfortunately had to cancel his talk on the Sunday evening. However we´ve managed to line up an extremely eminent replacement in the form of James Pearson. James is perhaps the only person in the UK currently bagging as many of the headlines as Dave. With a recent new E10 in the Peak District and the world´s first flash of a Font 8B boulder problem under his belt he comes to the lecture on superb form and with some superb footage of his exploits. Daniel Ilabaca is a freerunner renowned for his street gymnastics. He too has had to cancel his talk, but his good friend and fellow freerunner Luke Markey is standing in for him. In addition we´ve managed to line up two bonus films. The short film Space Chase has been screened at over 30 international film festivals, whilst the 10 minute ´Interview With Daniel Ilabaca´ provides an in-depth look into the mind of the Liverpudlain. Alastair Lee of Posing Productions and John and Anne Arran of will be exhibiting photographs at the event. This Thursday planetFear will be offering you the chance to win tickets to ShAFF.
