Ashima Shiraishi gelingt 8C Boulder

Am 22.03.2016 schrieb Ashima Shiraishi durch die zweite Begehung von "Horizon" (8C) am Mount Hiei in Japan Klettergeschichte. Ashima Shiraishi, die am 3ten April 15 Jahre alt wird, ist somit die jüngste Person und zugleich die erste Frau, die bis dato ein 8C Boulder klettern konnte.

So proud of this girl. @ashimashiraishi and I have been working together since she was 8 years old and even back then it was obvious that if she stuck with this climbing thing she would change the game, well it's happening. Today she got the 2nd ascent of bouldering legend @dai_koyamada problem Horizon in mt. Hiei Japan. This makes her the first female and youngest person to send V15. After a rough day yesterday, she got on today looking fierce focused and strong. 3rd day on with spring time seeping wet holds she made history today.
