Sunday Night Video

by Mick Ryan As reported here at UKClimbing.com on Saturday, Es Tresidder just broke the record for the traverse of Skye?s Cuillin Ridge in a time of 3 hrs 17 min 28 sec, taking a full 15 minutes off the previous record. The boys at Hot Aches have got a treat for us all: “Well known to many British mountaineers, the Cuillin Ridge is the most perhaps the greatest mountain range in the country and has a distinctly alpine feel to it. The knife edge ridge takes in a total of 3,000 metres of ascent along it´s 10 km length. The terrain is tough and exposed and involves a huge amount of scrambling as well as several rock climbing sections. Hot Aches filmed Es on a previous attempt to break the record back in October 2006. We had planned to film him again this year but unfortunately were committed elsewhere this week.” For your viewing pleasure, click on this: www.hotaches.blogspot.com
