Toy Boy Repeated

Yesterday afternoon, in perfect conditions when most of us were at work, Ben Heason ticked (headpoint) another big Froggatt route – Toy Boy. Put up in 1986 by Ron Fawcett and graded E6 6c, Ben thinks his is the second ascent and thinks it is more like E7 7a as it has repelled a lot of very strong and talented climbers over the years. Whilst on the high he also headpointed Mint 400, the E6 between Oedipus and Narcissus, and went on the climb, on sight, the wall above. He´s not named the new pitch as yet, but grades it a highly enjoyable, and ´interestng´ E4 6a.
