During the last month and a half, and before departing to an expedition to Chañi Chico in Argentina, Iker Pou has been cranking hard in the Basque Country bouldering spots. He started to get in shape in Baltzola, where he ticked Solaris Plus, 8B. Later on, he moved to Larraona and did:-The first repeat of the sit down start to Esto no es Suiza, 8A+.-The FA of Embrujo, proposing 8B for its 5 moves.-The FA of a “first-class traverse, composed of 24 moves, all of them really nice” called Monkey, 8B+.-The FA of Esku Beltza, of which he says: “after 5 days trying I was able to link the very spectacular 9 moves for which I propose 8B/+, more or less and waiting for confirmation”.Pic: Iker bouldering Esku Beltza, 8B (+) by Carlos Doval.
