Legrand send 8c+/9a

Planet Mountain reports: Last year ended in style for François Legrand, who on 22 December freed his project at Les Goudes, one of his favourite crags in Les Calanques, just outside Marseille. The new route is called Robi in the Sky and takes the first part of La Baume, a short and steep 15m 8b to then continue independently for a further 30m, high into the sky! Overhanging 25m in all, the suggested grade weighs in at a mighty 8c+/9a.
