Steve McClure has sent us a quick overview of a short week long trip to the Costa Blanca and it makes for very impressive reading. In only 5 days climbing he managed to onsight / flash 3 8b+´s and redpoint an 8c+ which is a truly incredible feat for a British based climber. Steve´s accomplishments are on a world-class level and with his own 9a+ Rainshadow completed in June he has rounded off a fantastic year. Also finishing on a high is Patxi Usobiaga who has climbed another 9a in Northern Spain. Within 3 weeks he has completely rewritten what is possible in sport climbing with a ticklist of 2 9a+´s, 4 9a´s, 8c+ & 8c onsight´s and many more beyond that.
