Mina Leslie-Wujastyk climbing Atomic PlayboyUKC News, Aug 2009© Neil HartMina Leslie-Wujastyk in Summer Sizzle Shocker:Sheffield based boulderer Mina Leslie-Wujastyk has climbed Atomic Playboy (Font 7C+/8A) in Fontainebleau, France.The problem is at Buthiers Piscine and is a traverse with various starting points. Mina climbed the common shorter variation starting on the obvious jug in the centre of the wall (the full length traverse is Font 8A+/B).The slopey traverse was climbed in mid-summer heat, Mina commented: „I'm coming home tomorrow, it's so hot here, hit around 35 deg today!“There is debate as to the difficulty hence the split: 7C+/8A.Commenting on the grade, Mina said: „I don't know my arse from my elbow when things feel that hard!“ Mina is sponsored by Evolv , Metolius , Prana and The Climbing Works Thanks go to Neil Hart for the photographs.
